Do you want to uninstall Google Play Services?
Uninstalling Google Play Services may seem like a daunting task, but it is actually pretty easy.
There is a good chance for many of us to have errors with Google Play Services on Android smartphones or tablets, where this App is used by hackers to bring viruses and malware into the device.
If you are having problems with your smartphone – it can be working slow, draining the battery faster than usual, some Apps won’t work properly or will crash all the time etc., then try to uninstall Google Play Services from your smartphone. This should help you fix most of these issues.
Google Play Service takes a lot of space on device internal memory which results in more free space available for users themselves.
However, sometimes there comes a situation when some apps start crashing or simply won’t work because they need some features from this service. In order to uninstall Google Play Services, you’ll need to go through a couple of steps.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q. I can’t uninstall Google Play Services. What should I do?
A. This is probably because your device does not have enough access to run this action! You will need to go into Settings -> Security and then check the box that says “Unknown sources”. After that, try to uninstall it again.
Q. My device has Android 5, but there is no Uninstall button for Google Play Service in my Apps list… Why?
A. It means that you won’t be able to uninstall it via normal method (as described above). However, if you are having problems with Google Play Services crashing on your smartphone/tablet, then you could give a shot at Titanium Backup App . Make sure that your phone or tablet is rooted before trying to uninstall it with this method.
This App creates a cache of every app that is installed on your Android along with .apk file of the app itself (.odex files are gone now). Then you just need to go into Titanium Backup -> Manage Apps and then select Google Play Service. After that, simply click Uninstall button:
Q. I am able to uninstall Google Play Services… But why is it still running? How do I fix this?
A. This is probably because some system apps run in the background even if they are not active or even listed under Settings -> Apps anymore. If uninstalling your problem service from Titanium Backup doesn’t help, then try to reboot your device and see whether there’s a difference or not.
Q. I’ve uninstalled Google Play Services but it’s still listed as a system app… Why?
A. This is probably because under Settings -> Security there is no checkbox for ‘Unknown sources. You need to go into Security and scroll down where you should find this option (see screenshots below):
After doing that, if you reboot your device and try to uninstall it again using Titanium App or another Root tool – then Google Play Service will be successfully removed!
Q. What does ‘It has stopped’ mean?
A. It means that the Google Play service has crashed probably due to many apps running in the background. Usually, this happens because of heavy multitasking or if you are running many apps at the same time. This means that Google Play Service is not responding anymore, but it shouldn’t affect your device that much. be to your helpful
I hope that this article has been helpful to you, but I would recommend that from now on, just use Google Play Store for apps and games. Only install your favourite App from websites like XDA Developers!
